The life threatening disease Malaria
Understanding the symptom causes treatment and diagnosis of the disease malaria which are caused by the biting of an anophele female mosquito. The plasmodium parasite completes its life cycle in two hosts primary host is a mosquito anophele and the secondary host is the human body. After completing the sexual phase in mosquito, the sporozoids are inserted in the human in human body its attack on the liver called liver schizogamy produces the spore merozoids further enter into RBC for the erythrocytic schizogamy where the merozoids are converted into tropozoids hemozoin granules are appear and the latter singlet ring stage occur in RBC after this stage the schizozoids are formed the RBC rapture and the heamozoin granules are spread in blood stream that's are pyrogens and causes fever and sneezing the symptom of malaria identified. The time interval between the sporozoids entering in human body and the release of hemozoin granules in the blood causing fever and sneezing in humans is called the incubation period. The incubation periods depend upon the species of plasmodium parasite. To deal with this malaria there are various drugs present in our market.
The life-threatening disease of malaria
(Malaria is transmitted through the bite of an infected female anopheles mosquito )
Understanding the symptom treatment diagnosis and causes of malaria
Introduction
Malaria is derived from the Italian word that means bad and aria, which means air Malaria is a life-threatening disease that spreads when an infected mosquito bites a person the mosquito transfers the parasite into that person's bloodstream. Actually, the anopheles mosquito works only as a host to transfer the plasmodium egg to the human blood. The plasmodium eggs are stored in the salivary gland of the anopheles mosquito and are transferred to the human body while biting
Symptoms
Malaria symptom usually appear 10 days to one month after a person is infected science of malaria are similar to flu symptom they include
- Fever and sweating
- Chills that shake the whole body
- Headache Muscles pain
- Fatigue
- Chest pain breathing problems and cough
- Diarrhea nausea and vomiting
- As malaria progresses it can cause anemia and jaundice yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes
Causes of malaria
Human malaria is caused by one of the protozoan parasites the different species of parasites are present in our environment they are distinct from each other on the basis of the incubation period in the human body
They are classified on the basis of incubation period incubation periods are" the time interval between the exposure of infection to the first symptom occur in human body
- Plasmodium falciparum
- Plasmodium vivax
- Plasmodium oval
- Plasmodium malaria
- Plasmodium knowlesi
Diagnosis
Physical examination and travel history (physical examinations include that any parasites in the blood sample to detect the malaria in human body and the travel history are also helps in diagnosis of malaria)
Various blood tests also help in detect the parasite
Treatment
For the treatment of malaria anti-malaria drug available in market there are some anti-malarial drug includes
- artemisinin drug
- Atovaquone
- Chloroquine drug
- Doxycycline drug
- Mefloquine
